The terms for using Jelleo.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of jelleo.com and the services offered by Jelleo, Inc. ("Jelleo", "we", "us"). By using the site or our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use them.
What Jelleo provides
Jelleo provides continuous security audit tooling and services for Solana and other smart-contract platforms, the publicly available Solana Security Standard ruleset, this website, and related materials and content. We may add, change, or discontinue features at any time.
Open-source components
Parts of Jelleo are open source and governed by their own licenses, which control over these Terms for that code: the audit platform is offered under Apache-2.0, and the Solana Security Standard ruleset under the MIT license. Nothing here restricts your rights under those licenses.
How you may use it
You agree to use the site and services lawfully and not to misuse them.
You will not:
- Use the services to attack, exploit, or compromise systems you are not authorized to test.
- Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, our infrastructure, or other users' data.
- Reverse engineer or circumvent access controls except as permitted by an applicable open-source license or by law.
- Misrepresent a Jelleo finding, signature, or attestation, or present unsigned or altered material as Jelleo-verified.
- Use the services in violation of any applicable law, sanctions, or export control.
Security audits are best-effort, not a guarantee.
A security audit, scan, finding, or attestation from Jelleo does not guarantee that code is free of vulnerabilities, and is not insurance against loss. Security analysis is inherently limited by scope, time, and the state of the art. The absence of a finding does not mean the absence of a vulnerability.
Findings, scores, and recommendations are provided for your evaluation. You remain solely responsible for the security, deployment, and operation of your own code and systems, and for any decision to ship, fix, or rely on it. Engagement-specific scope, deliverables, and terms are set out in your separate written agreement, which controls over these Terms for that engagement.
Not investment advice
Nothing on the site or in our services is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any token or asset. Smart-contract and digital-asset activity carries significant risk. You are responsible for your own decisions and for complying with the laws that apply to you.
Ownership
Except for open-source components under their own licenses and content you own, the site and its materials — including the Jelleo name, logo, and brand — are owned by Jelleo and protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the site for its intended purpose. You retain ownership of the code and materials you submit for audit; you grant us the limited rights needed to perform the service.
Warranty & liability
"As is"
The site and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Jelleo will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of funds, profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site or services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the services is limited to the amount you paid Jelleo for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the claim (or, for the free website, USD $100).
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Jelleo harmless from claims arising out of your misuse of the services or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
Termination, governing law & changes
Third-party services. The services rely on third parties (for example AI providers, RPC providers, and hosting). We are not responsible for their acts, outages, or content, and links to third-party sites are provided for convenience only.
Termination. We may suspend or terminate access to the site or services at any time for conduct that violates these Terms or harms other users or us.
Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Changes. We may update these Terms; the effective date above reflects the latest version, and continued use means you accept the changes. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
